The David M. Brown Planetarium is located on the campus of Washington-Liberty High School.

The planetarium is approximately a 15 minute walk from either the Ballston or VA Square/GMU Metro stations.

There is free parking available during non-school hours.



Detailed Directions and Map:

The planetarium is located on the campus of Washington-Liberty High School in Arlington, VA, next to the W-L Annex building. It is also near the W-L Aquatics Center.

There is free parking adjacent to the planetarium during non-school hours. The entrance for the parking lot is located on Quincy St, close to the I-66 overpass. Parking spaces are located both behind the Annex Building and between the planetarium and Quincy Street. Traffic flows one way through this parking lot parallel to Quincy Street, past the planetarium. There is also street parking available along Quincy Street.
Please note that the parking lot entrance at 14
th St is primarily for the aquatics center. This entrance only provides access to the parking spaces between the pool and the planetarium. Planetarium attendees should NOT park in spaces reserved for the aquatics center during times when the pool is open. 

From I-66 Heading East:
Take the Glebe Rd exit, continue straight ahead (cross Glebe Rd), turn left on Quincy St, pass by the library and through the light at the Washington Blvd intersection. The planetarium will be on your left, immediately after 14th St.

From I-66 Heading West:
Take the Glebe Rd exit, and turn left onto Glebe Rd. Take the first left onto Washington Blvd, then take a left onto Quincy St. The planetarium is located on the left, immediately after 14th St.

From Route 50 Heading East:
Take the George Mason Drive exit and turn left on George Mason. Turn right on Henderson Rd.  Henderson turns into Quincy St after you cross Glebe Rd. Cross through the Washington Blvd intersection and the planetarium will be on your left, immediately after 14th St.

From Route 50 Heading West:
Take the Glebe Rd exit and turn right on Glebe. Turn right on Quincy St. Continue on Quincy past the Washington Blvd intersection. The planetarium will be on your left, immediately after 14th St.

From Langston Blvd:
Heading East on Langston Blvd, continue past Glebe Road and take a right on Quincy St. After 0.6 miles, the planetarium will be on your right, immediately after passing over I-66. 

From George Washington Parkway:
Heading West on George Washington Parkway, take the Spout Run exit, take a right onto Langston Blvd (Rte 29), take a left onto Quincy St. After 0.6 miles, the planetarium will be on your right, immediately after passing over I-66.
