The Friends of Arlington's David M. Brown Planetarium was incorporated by the Commonwealth of Virginia, State Corporation Commission, on May 10, 2010. You may access pdf versions of our Articles of Incorporation and current Bylaws by clicking on the links provided on this page.

On June 2, 2010, the IRS assigned Employer Identification Number (EIN) 27-2760025 to the Friends. 

The Friends submitted an application to the IRS for Recognition of Exemption under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, Form 1023, on July 21, 2010.
