The Friends of Arlington's Planetarium Announce Vacancies on its All-Volunteer Board of Directors
- Are you passionate about experiences at the planetarium?
- Do you have a background in communications and/or publicity?
- Would you like to contribute to an iconic Arlington organization?
Two seats are open (three-year terms) on the FOAP Board for the coming election in January 2026. No special science knowledge is required, however, to further enhance the planetarium's broader audience, we are seeking volunteers with a background in communications and/or publicity as is any candidate who is bilingual in Spanish. Candidates must be available for monthly board meetings and to volunteer at FOAP events throughout the year. |
