As part of our goal of promoting public science education, FOAP hosts public planetarium shows and sky talks at the David M. Brown Planetarium one weekend each month during the school year.

Some weekends feature special events, such as guest lectures, concerts, trivia quizzes, or science demonstrations.

Some events, such as the solar system bike ride or astronomy walks, take place at locations other than the planetarium.

In addition to presenting fulldome planetarium shows for the public, FOAP contributes funds and labor toward obtaining additional programming for the planetarium.
