New observatories, like Vera Rubin, allow us to quickly scan large areas of the sky, so we can discover and observe more cosmic events happening in real time. When we combine live telescope data with cosmic ray, neutrino, and gravitational wave detector data, we can build a more complete picture of dramatic cosmic events in our universe as they unfold.
