“Undiscovered Worlds” - planetarium show
Presented by Friends of Arlington's Planetarium (FOAP) The theme for this weekend is: The Universe Beyond Our Solar System
Do other planets like Earth exist? Through the discovery of exoplanets, thousands of planets have been found orbiting stars beyond the Sun. We now know that our solar system is not alone in the universe and we've had to redefine our understanding of planets and solar systems. With rapidly improving technology, the discovery of exoplanets represents one step closer to the possibility of finding an Earth-like world.
How will this change how we view our place in the universe? Duration: 30 minutes Recommended for general audiences (best for ages 10 and above)
There will also be a short planetarium sky talk after the program.
