The theme for the weekend is Mars (and Venus)
Three different fulldome planetarium films are scheduled for the weekend.

Saturday, April 20th, 2024
6:30pm - Mars: The Ultimate Voyage
Fulldome Planetarium Show
What it will take for astronauts to travel to the Moon, Mars and beyond? On this long journey, what challenges will astronauts face? How will they stay motivated and healthy on their spacecraft so far away from Earth? This planetarium show explores these questions and more!
Recommended for general audiences - best for ages 8+
Duration: 25 minutes
The program will be followed by a live planetarium sky talk.

8:00pm - MarsQuest
Fulldome Planetarium Show
This show traces Mars through history, looking at its influence on both science and culture. It examines the findings from various spacecraft missions, and compares the climate and terrain of Earth and Mars. The show also looks at what will be needed to get crewed missions to the Red Planet.
Recommended for general audiences - best for ages 8+
Duration: 40 minutes
The program will be followed by a live planetarium sky talk.

Sunday, April 21st, 2024
1:30pm - Magic Tree House: Space Mission
Fulldome Planetarium Show
Travel with the brother-sister duo, Jack and Annie, in their Magic Tree House as they discover a note that asks them to answer a series of six questions about space. With the help of an astronomer, the Internet, an astronaut, books, and the writer of the mysterious note, Jack and Annie are taken on a wondrous journey of adventure and learning.
