Public Planetarium Shows on March 16 & 17, 2024
Coming to Arlington's David M. Brown Planetarium on March 16th & 17th: Public planetarium shows hosted by the Friends of Arlington's Planetarium!

The theme for the weekend is Astronomy - from Ancient Civilizations to Today.
Four different fulldome planetarium films will be shown - two different shows on March 16th and two different shows on March 17th.

There will also be a limited number of tickets available at the door beginning about 30 minutes before each program.

Saturday, March 16th
Both of these shows are recommended for general audiences. They are best suited for age 10+.
6:30pm “From Earth to the Universe”
Duration: 30 minutes, followed by a short planetarium sky talk.

8:00pm “Big Astronomy: People, Places, Discoveries”
Duration: 26 minutes, followed by a planetarium sky talk.

Sunday, March 17th
The Sunday shows are recommended for general audiences, especially age 8 and up.

1:30pm “The Cowboy Astronomer”
Duration: 37 minutes, followed by a short planetarium sky talk.

3:00pm “Two Small Pieces of Glass: The Amazing Telescope"
Duration: 23 minutes, followed by a short planetarium sky talk.
