Public Planetarium Shows January 20 & 21, 2024

This weekend’s shows are cancelled, as APS has closed their facilities.

Coming to Arlington's David M. Brown Planetarium on January 20 & 21: Public events hosted by the Friends of Arlington's Planetarium!

The theme for the weekend is The Universe Beyond Our Solar System.
Four different fulldome planetarium films will be shown - two different shows on January 20th and two different shows on January 21st.

There will also be a limited number of tickets available at the door beginning about 30 minutes before each program.

Saturday, January 20th
Both of these shows are recommended for general audiences. They are best suited for age 10+.
6:30pm “Undiscovered Worlds”
Duration: 30 minutes, followed by a planetarium sky talk.

8:00pm “Exploding Universe”
Duration: 30 minutes, followed by a planetarium sky talk.

Sunday, January 21st
The Sunday shows are recommended for general audiences, and are aimed at a somewhat younger audience.

1:30pm “Beyond the Sun”
Duration: 25 minutes, followed by a planetarium sky talk.

3:00pm “We Are Stars"
Duration: 26 minutes, followed by a planetarium sky talk.
