To Follow Apollo: Musical performance with Jim Thorne

Enjoy a very special performance by Dr. Jim and the MoonDiggers, featuring songs to commemorate NASA's Apollo program, as well as a new fulldome video (a work in progress) for the title song from Dr. Jim's popular album, “To Follow Apollo”.

Dr. Jim Thorne is a space scientist and singer-songwriter. He also produces and hosts “Space Quest with Dr. Jim,” a science TV series for elementary students. The series will soon be available on YouTube.

Dr. Jim's concerts are a fun, innovative way to enjoy the planetarium. Be sure to reserve your seats early, as these events usually sell out!

The concert will last about an hour.

Our capacity is 58 seats. We set aside 20 seats to accommodate those who arrive without a reservation, so if the show is sold out you can still try to attend by arriving close to 1 p.m. However, although we will do whatever we can to seat all comers, there is no guarantee of admission without a reservation.
