During the weekend of November 13, the Friends of the Planetarium will be presenting its Second Annual Tribute to Carl Sagan. Our Carl Sagan weekend will feature two classic episodes of Cosmos: The Edge of Forever and Encyclopedia Galactica. The first of these explores cosmology, the large-scale structure of the universe, and General Relativity. The second concerns the search for intelligent life beyond the Earth and the probability of advanced civilizations existing elsewhere in the universe. Admission to these COSMOS shows will be free of charge, but reservations are recommended.

In addition, we'll have door prizes, a screening of the movie Contact, the excellent children’s show Perfect Little Planet, and special appearances by Carl Sagan and Albert Einstein themselves!
