Come to the Planetarium on July 20, 2019, from noon to 3 pm, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing.

All the events will be free. We will have a film festival, live music, Moon Oreos, Lego lunar spacecraft, and more surprises.

On July 20^th, 1969, two human beings walked upon the moon—the first time that people touched another world. An audience of 650 million admired the achievement on television. This year marks the 50^th anniversary of this momentous event, and the Friends of the Planetarium is excited to be a part of the worldwide commemoration. Our celebration on this day will serve as a special thank-you to our members, but all are welcome to join us for this free program.
