Come listen to Dr. Jennifer Levasseur, curator for astronaut cameras and personal equipment, Smithsonian National Air & Space Museum, as she discusses astronauts and photography. Jennifer has some of the equipment that Dave Brown used in filming the documentary of the STS-107 crew’s training. Learn about how astronauts take those amazing images in space!
Target Audience: ages 9 and older and their families.
Duration: The talk will last about 1 hour.
Doors open: 6:30 p.m. Show begins: 7 p.m.
Our capacity is 58 seats. We set aside 20 seats to accommodate those who arrive without a reservation, so if the show is sold out you can still try to attend by arriving close to 6:30 p.m. However, although we will do whatever we can to seat all comers, there is no guarantee of admission without a reservation.
