Infrared Eyes on the Universe

Event held on Feb. 24, 2023, 11 a.m. Eastern time

The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) is revolutionizing astronomy with new images collected using infrared light. Join Friends' President Jennifer Bartlett, a professor at the US Naval Academy, for a brief overview of what the latest images from JWST are showing us about the universe.

This talk is free but Arlington 55+ membership is required. Because these events frequently have a waitlist, early registration is recommended.

The presentation will be at the Langston-Brown Community Center, 2121 N Culpeper St, Arlington, VA 22207.
