Islands in the Universe: The Search for Extraterrestrial Life.

Ever wonder if we are truly alone in the universe? Astrobiology is the scientific study of the possibility of life beyond Earth. Friends' President Jennifer Bartlett, a professor at the US Naval Academy, will explain how scientists calculate the probability of alien civilizations and discuss some efforts to communicate with other worlds.

This talk is free but Arlington 55+ membership is required. Because these events frequently have a waitlist, early registration is recommended.
