The Solar System contains the Sun and everything that its gravitationally bound to it, including planets, moons, asteroids, comets, gas and dust. Our knowledge of the Solar System continues to grow as new missions and new instruments study its different bodies. Come to the Langston-Brown Community Center (2121 N Culpeper St, Arlington, VA 22207) for a brief overview of our present knowledge of the Solar System.

Join the Arlington 55+ program for a talk by Friends' President Jennifer Lynn Bartlett. Dr. Bartlett teaches physics and astronomy at the US Naval Academy. She recently co-authored Solar System: Between Fire and Ice.
