Maria L. Dittrich

When she is not advising the Friends of the Planetarium, Maria works as a
clinical psychologist at offices in McLean, VA and The George Washington
University in Washington, DC. She was on the Board of Directors from 2012-2015,
and learned about the David M. Brown Planetarium while strolling through the
Arlington County Fair. When Maria is not lamenting the demotion of Pluto from
its former planetary status, she is probably trying to figure out where the
moon is and why it is sometimes visible during the daytime.
