Support the Friends of the Planetarium
Friends of Arlington's Planetarium also plans to continue hosting community events, such as our popular Sunday Science lecture series, Nights at the Planetarium, and more! We also plan to purchase new digital programming for community shows, sponsor planetarium training sessions for Arlington Public School (APS) teachers, and start a scholarship for APS students; our fundraising target for 2012 is $58,000. Become a Major Donor! Donations of $1,000 or more will be listed on large wall plaques mounted at the entrance of Arlington's Planetarium. The categories of Major Donors are listed here. Potential major donors are urged to contact us for additional information, to arrange a meeting with members of the Board of Directors, or for a private tour of the Planetarium.
